Jago Guarding Bren, drawn as a gift for Ms. Cherryh, as she writes yet another Foreigner book. That's 11, folks! Whee!
Poor Jago. There she is, the polished and professional guard and assassin, trying to keep the human paidhi, Bren Cameron, safe from all the mishaps in the atevi world. And can't you just tell he's wondering how to ditch her and get into the fight himself? Bad human. "What are you afraid of, a fate worse than death?!?"
"No, just death. Isn't that enough?"
--Clue
Bren's expression is greatyes, very sneaky; methinks the paidhi will soon attempt a daring escape... <.< >.> *shifty eyes*
And do I spy 'Nichi-ji in the background? <3 <3 <3
Lovely guns and clothing, too! SHINEY!!!
This is my hands-down favorite of all of my Foreigner drawings to date.
So -- have you read the new book yet? I just finished it. Which means, of course, I now have a long wait on the next one.
