The Hula Dancer

This is a commission created for a very old and dear friend of mine.

I'm quite proud of this drawing, as I really wanted to try an idea I had for improving my play of light and shadow on my characters, and I think it came out well. Now ... to practice on more drawings!

Drawn on 8 1/2 X 11, Cason Bright White Paper, in a multitude of colored pencils.
