The Bath is a scene from C.J. Cherryh's science fiction series, Foreigner
For those of you who are unfamiliar with the series, this would be Bren (human gentleman and diplomat to the atevi) and Jago (black skinned, atevi female. Bren's tall and strong, weapon-wearing, security gal. Er, well, not currently. Bath, you know) enjoying some private time together. Actually, they're always sneaking off to that tub in the books. Tisk! Those crazy kids! Note: In the story, culturally everyone wears their hair long. Though in public, ALWAYS up in a braid wrapped in their house colors. Long hair loose in public is, well, quite the scandal. Created upon a Red Rose Tea cardboard divider in water colors and colored pencils. About the size of your average bookmark. |
